Gulf Harbor Marina Owners and Storage Customers

The 2010 winter season is well underway, much colder than we all expected.  A “warm” thanks to our returning snow birds and welcome to our new customers.   I am sure our year round customers will agree that the summer of 2009 was a hot one, but the fishing was great and there were no reports of red tide.  The Marina was and continues to be very busy even in these tough times.

Captain Ed and Robin are now running the bait shop and fuel dock; they have been a great addition to the Gulf Harbor family.  Captain Ed and Robin have expanded the selections of tackle, bait, added new food items as well as some great clothing and spruced up the shop with a fresh coat of paint.  Stop in soon and check out all the improvements that have been made.

The Gulf Harbor staff has changed also this year.  Peter Thrall is no longer here at the Marina; thanks Peter for all your hard work.  Dave Wieczorek, who has been a member of the staff for over two years, has taken on a dual role; he continues to help in the service department as well as taking on Peter’s responsibilities.  We welcome Jorge Espino to the service department.  Jorge has many years of experience in the marine industry and has been a great addition to the department.  Roger Williamson continues his duties as shop supervisor.

A reminder to our storage customers, there is a boat status board in the hallway near the bathrooms.  The board is a great information tool for our launch staff.  Please use the board to inform us of your plans with your vessel after you have finshed boating for the day.
